Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using the Carlee website and game, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Carlee.

Carlee is an independently operated project and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any automobile manufacturer.

What Carlee is

Carlee is a free browser-based car-guessing game. The main mode is Daily: one mystery car per UTC calendar day, the same car for every player, solved in up to 6 guesses. An optional Unlimited mode lets you play random cars as often as you like and does not count toward streaks or win rate.

You identify the car by searching and submitting guesses. Feedback compares attributes such as make, country, drivetrain, body style, horsepower, year, and engine.

Carlee currently does not require accounts, does not provide a contact form backend, and does not currently include advertising or third-party analytics in the application itself. Features may change over time.

Streaks and statistics

Streaks, win rate, and other statistics are informal records stored in your own browser on the device you play on. They are not an account, not a competitive ranking, and not backed up by us.

Because this data lives only in your browser, it can be lost if you clear site data, use private browsing, switch browsers or devices, or if your browser evicts stored data. We cannot restore, transfer, or verify a lost streak, and we may reset or change how statistics work as the game evolves.

Using the game

When you use Carlee, you agree to:

• Use the site for personal, non-commercial enjoyment unless we agree otherwise in writing
• Play fairly and not attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the service
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape at abusive rates, or misuse the car catalog or site in a way that harms the project or other users
• Not use automated tools to cheat or abuse gameplay in a way that interferes with normal operation, including scripting the Daily puzzle or artificially inflating streaks and statistics

User conduct

You agree not to use Carlee to engage in unlawful activity, harass others, distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access to systems or data, or otherwise misuse the website. We may restrict or block access if we reasonably believe these terms are being violated.

Intellectual property

The Carlee name, site design, layout, original text, and original code written for this project are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or claim ownership of Carlee’s original materials without permission, except for ordinary personal use of the game in your browser.

Third-party content, trademarks, and car materials

Carlee references real car makes, models, and technical attributes for gameplay. Car names, logos, trademarks, and related brand materials belong to their respective owners. Carlee is an independent fan/project game and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those manufacturers or trademark owners unless explicitly stated.

Catalog data is provided for entertainment and educational guessing gameplay. It may contain errors or omissions. If you spot a mistake, you can report it via the Contact page.

Disclaimer

Carlee is provided “as is” and “as available” for entertainment purposes. We do not guarantee that the game will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or that the car catalog will be complete or perfectly accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Carlee and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the website or game. If liability cannot be excluded in your jurisdiction, it is limited to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law.

Changes to the service

We may update, pause, or discontinue parts of Carlee at any time, including the catalog, gameplay rules, interface, or availability, without prior notice.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. When we make changes, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Carlee after an update means you should review the revised Terms.
